Gotta stop doing these quizzes. The ads in between each question and answer is so annoying. Have to wait quite a few seconds da for the screen to change. All the fun is gone out of doing this.

You stated that a metaphor contains the word like or the word as. So please explain number two to me I chose he is as dead as a doornail. I was told that was wrong and that the right answer was the early bird gets the worm. So I followed your instructions about sentences containing the words like or as and the answer you said is correct contains neither of them. What???
