How Much Do You Know About Recycling?

Well, it could have been worse! Still, you're no eco-warrior.

My husband worked at a recycling station and came home with disgusting stories of what they found in the bins. I was horrified. We cut our garbage to less than half when they started a recycling program in our city and I wish more people would understand how important it is to recycle...and how much less garbage they would be putting in the dump - we also have a place to take our lawn mowings and tree trimmings as well as our polystyrene containers...puts a smile on my face

Recycle ♻️ as much as we can!

Most electronic equipment can be recycled. Also, different regions have VERY different "recycling" bins, sometimes as many as four per household, each containing different recyclables.

Polystyrene can be recycled, although not in my personal bin. i take it to my local supermarket.

Disagree with answer #4 about polystyrene. Often it IS marked with a recyclable number, probably more than 50% of the time in the area where live!

6/10. Truly slipped on one! Before moving, our city had great recycling and 3 bins per house which was great.

I'd like to know how the Irish digest glass bottles.
