These were terribly written questions, some of which were beyond comprehension. SMH

Working out alone may not reduce weight, but it definitely reduces your size, if you don't change your eating habits.

The quotes about Cigarettes are garbage. In the 1950's Kool (sic) cigarettes had asbestos filters and THAT alone caused lung cancer from smoking. Smoking is unhealthy when smokers smoke excessively but if one exercises, keeps fit and eats nutritious healthy food, one will be less likely to succumb to smoking.

An hour of sleep is worth more to your happiness than a $60,000 per yr. raise? Don't think so. Smoking can reduce your memory by 1/3 every day? If that were true heavy smokers wouldn't be able to function. And just working out should result in weight loss unless you eat more. The more you work out, the more weight you'll lose.

I’m sure I eat too much sugar but nowhere near 46 teaspoons a day! This is really not recommended.

Gail Cusack, They should have as few as possible, but it says how many can they take, so they shouldn't take more than that.

The question about sugar was very poorly worded. I think they meant how many teaspoons do Americans actually have each day, and the answer is 46 teaspoons. It sounded like how many teaspoons SHOULD Americans have each day - actually only 6-9.

I feel obligated to comment on this test, as a public interest service. A test that does not cite a source for each question asked should not be taken seriously. Some of the answers were totally wrong. Take, for instance, the one that asks how many teaspoonfuls of sugar one should eat daily. According to the test, the answer is 42. Wrong! According to the American Heart Association, a man should not eat more than 9 teaspoonfuls of sugar (about 36 grams) daily, while a woman no more than 6 (about 25 grams). I don't know who prepares these questions, but if they have a license, it should be revoked. Warning to the test takers: unless a health test is given by a responsible, well-known organization, such as the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, etc., do not even bother with it. Do not turn to amateurs for any form of health advice/comment.
