9 of 9 and I don't even have a Bachelor's But I DO read an awful lot And as others have pointed out already, several of these were not actually synonyms

Leapy Lee, Then they should either stick to actual synonyms, or else phrase the question "Which of these is closest in meaning to"

Wendy Reid, it is very difficult to come up with a single word synonym for many words. Of the choices offered, it was the closest in meaning.

Acquiesce means to agree reluctantly, not just agree. Infamy does not mean dishonor, it means being famous for something bad / underhanded
