I should have been a teacher - absolutely not, I answered correctly because I remember which teachers taught me and those who put me off their subject for life. I hate kids, especially the older ones, I have been known to say the only thing school taught me (and it was bad at that) was how to read, most of my learning from then was through books, and later observation - I only look back fondly on two teachers.

Well I guess I'm intelligent enough to be a teacher, how ever I'm fond of kids over 8yr old. Maybe I should try it

Gerald Fife, Some people do not want to learn. I can honestly say I tried to understand algebra and pre-calculus, and just could not remember the formulas, because I could not fathom how to use them. I asked people for help, to no avail. Often, it was the last thing I was trying to decipher at night and the first in the morning. Was the teacher teaching? Was there another way to help me comprehend it? Thank you, Christine, James' wife

Could be a teacher; I am qualified to be one, but I chose to not be a teacher.
