Steve Bush, Well in all fairness, Pluto was declared to not be a planet more than a decade ago - while China lost the highest population to India within the past year or so.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense should be able to get these!
Steve Bush
They have Pluto as a non planet but still have China as most populated. When will they update?

The question about the first man in space is a matter of definition. He was the first of the person listed. One definition is being more than a certain distance from the ground

R Yancey, I agree that it is orbit and not revolve.

lls,
Pluto is classified as a dwarf planet.
To be considered a planet it must satisfy 3 requirements. It falls short for one requirement.
✔️ To be a planet, it must orbit a star (in our cosmic neighborhood, the Sun).
✔️ It must be big enough to have enough gravity to force it into a spherical shape.
✖️ It must be big enough that its gravity has cleared away any other objects of a similar size near its orbit around the Sun.
Pluto has not satisfied this requirement.
Pluto is technically a “dwarf planet,” because it has not “cleared its neighboring region of other objects.” This means that Pluto still has lots of asteroids and other space rocks along its flight path, rather than having absorbed them over time, like the larger planets have done.

mikeyparry, That's a really great score, I only got 7/10. That's great.

7/10, not bad.😊👍

I grew up when Pluto was considered a planet. I still think of it as one.
Question number four should be "orbit" not "revolve" around the sun.
Thanks for answers.

9 / 10. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY A GENIUS! Don’t know how answering this fairly easy quiz makes me a genius!

lls, It is again.old quiz.
konrad
I don't know ow old this quiz is, but Pluto apparently appealed and has been considered a planet again. It even has a satellite, Charon.

10/10. Had to guess on the UY Scuti. A learning opportunity especially because the answers were included. I am still crushed that we lost Pluto among the planets! jk
