The question about the first man in space is a matter of definition. He was the first of the person listed. One definition is being more than a certain distance from the ground

R Yancey, I agree that it is orbit and not revolve.

Based on the way the questions were phrased I think the test constructor is not overly familiar with English. With that in mine, please do not prepare tests or quizzes that at best look amateurish. If you try to pass yourself as a puzzle maven you should make sure you are so in every way. The last thing I need is to be instructed by some two-bit wannabe.

lls, Pluto is classified as a dwarf planet. To be considered a planet it must satisfy 3 requirements. It falls short for one requirement. ✔️ To be a planet, it must orbit a star (in our cosmic neighborhood, the Sun). ✔️ It must be big enough to have enough gravity to force it into a spherical shape. ✖️ It must be big enough that its gravity has cleared away any other objects of a similar size near its orbit around the Sun. Pluto has not satisfied this requirement. Pluto is technically a “dwarf planet,” because it has not “cleared its neighboring region of other objects.” This means that Pluto still has lots of asteroids and other space rocks along its flight path, rather than having absorbed them over time, like the larger planets have done.

I grew up when Pluto was considered a planet. I still think of it as one. Question number four should be "orbit" not "revolve" around the sun. Thanks for answers.

I don't know ow old this quiz is, but Pluto apparently appealed and has been considered a planet again. It even has a satellite, Charon.

10/10. Had to guess on the UY Scuti. A learning opportunity especially because the answers were included. I am still crushed that we lost Pluto among the planets! jk
