Zny teacher worth their credentials (a 35 year career for me) can do this with ease after their first year.

Easy peasy. Used to read letters lying on someone's desk upside down all the time.

James Chartier, they should have! It doesn't make sense their way.

This test was really dumb. After teaching for 40 years. I became very proficient at reading upside-down. The first word should be the same word as if the sentence were right-side up. The word that begins with a capital is the first either way. The period goes at the end of the sentence either way, not at the beginning, as it looks when upside-down. I did get 10/10, of course.

At first I thought they were counting from the actual beginning of the sentence.
