You may be able to recite memorable lines with ease or quickly recall episode storylines with in the first 10 seconds of a rerun, but you might be surprised at a detail you forgot or didn't even know. Do you know how many of your favorite TV shows were created as spin-offs of another show?

16/24 Never heard of several ot these shows. don't watch a lot of the ones I have. Although 3s company isn't a spin off it is a copy of Man About the House so can;t really be called original

erik hughes, In this sense, "spinoff" means from another tv show. They were based on the movies, but original to tv.

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Alice" were NOT "original shows"; they were spin-offs of popular movies.

lordnaylor, If you've never seen them how do you know they're rubbish? "Touched By an Angel" was very good in my opinion and some of the sitcoms were good- "The Jeffersons" especially and also "The Simpsons".
