Unfair at times...a TV series (with good writers) can allow an actor to develop a much more nuanced character than a 90 minute film.

Robin Hood--Patrick Bergen, my favorite, wasn't even listed. Joker--Joaquin Phoenix hands down!! And HE wasn't listed! Also, the second Sarah Connor, didn't she appear on television, not the big screen? The same for Alan Alda as Hawkeye Pierce. Yet George Reeves as Superman on TV, wasn't given as a choice. Get it together, folks!!

I think Jack Nicholson was the better joker. Heath Ledger's was far too serious-looking, based on his physical appearance.
