For everyone saying number 2 is wrong, it isn't. Squaring a negative number multiplies it by itself, meaning two minus signs that cancel; e.g. (−3)² = 3² = 9. The rule is to cancel pairs of minus signs.

This test needs to be rewritten. Answer #2 is wrong. It is 9.8, NOT -9.8. Answer #5 is an inaccurate approximation. (75.4)² is 5,685.16, not 5,684. The square root of 5,684 is approximately 75.39230729.

Karin Johansson, And they won't. Quizzclub continues to publish incorrect information no matter how many complain. They simply don't care! They are lazy and unprofessional.
