Balanced Boss does fit with the feedback I’ve received from my teammates. My favorite opportunity as a boss was coaching/mentoring/career development & my least favorite was handling poor conduct behaviors. When someone knows the rules and expectations and still chooses to ignore them, I must deal with it at the earliest opportunity but it’s usually unpleasant and often has a negative outcome for someone. I prefer to support responsible adults over disciplining irresponsible ones.
