The tricky riddles you will find below require only basic knowledge of math, yet most people will definitely find some of them difficult to solve. Only a genius can figure out all of them without cheating. Are you ready?

The Order of Operations says that multiplication comes before addition. So:
2 + 2 × 2 = 2 + 4
2 + 4 = 6
So the answer is 6.

a = 1, b = 2 and c = 3
a + b + c = z ⇒ 1 + 2 + 3 = 6
a × b × c = z ⇒ 1 × 2 × 3 = 6

3, 2, 4 = 10 ⇒ 3 × 2 + 4 = 10
4, 3, 5 = 17 ⇒ 4 × 3 + 5 = 17
5, 4, 6 = 26 ⇒ 5 × 4 + 6 = 26
6, 5, 7 = 37 ⇒ 6 × 5 + 7 = 37
7, 6, 8 =?? ⇒ 7 × 6 + 8 = 50

The first step: simplify the addition inside of the parentheses.
6÷2(1+2) = 6÷2(3)
According to the order of operations, division and multiplication have the same precedence, so the correct order is to evaluate from left to right. First take 6 and divide it by 2, and then multiply by 3.
6÷2×3 = 3×3 = 9
This gets us to the correct answer of 9.

According to the Order of Operations, first comes multiplication, then division, addition, subtraction.
2 – 2 x 2 + 2 = ?
2 – 4 + 2 = ?
