Janette Evans, all carbohydrates are broken down after consumption by our body to simple sugars. Therefore, our body does not recognize a difference.

Odd thing about milk, though I'm not at all lactose intolerant in the medical sense, I hate it and drinking a glass would make me feel ill - I don't even add it to coffee. Yet my all time favourite food is cheese, which is made of - yes, go figure!
