How does your body feel in the sky?
Do you know how our body reacts to flying on an airplane? We found some interesting facts especially for you!
Even the most patient people are getting nervous during the flight. The reason is they can not control their safety. It's all up to the pilot, the plane and the sky.
You may notice your ears popping during the flight, due to changes of pressure onboard a plane. Neglecting the discomfort would lead to temporary hearing impartment.
For the same reason, floating in the sky, you may experience a toothache.
The third reason your body reacts to flying on an airplane is dehydration. It causes bad smell from the mouth as our body produces less saliva. When we have not enough saliva in the mouth cavity it results in a growth of bacteria.
Dehydration may also cause acne and skin flaking.
One more factor influencing our body aboard is lack of mobility. Blood stagnation comes when you do not walk and can not properly stretch your legs for a long time. This can cause swelling and even clotting.
The most harmless symptom you get on a plane is that your taste temporary changes. Scientists found out that taste preferences during the flight differ from those you have on the ground. They say that taste perception depends upon the environment in which we consume food. For example, people with a sweet tooth can suddenly have a strange desire for tomato juice.
