Here are the best reasons why you shouldn't sit for several hours a day

It's not a secret we sit too much these days. Modern world let us move as little as possible, as we can do almost everything with the help of our smartphones and computers. But there are still reasons why you should consider living a more active life and sit less.

I have "sit" days but not too often as when I retired I actually became more active. This information just reinforces the positivity of my decision

People need to take these tips seriously. I'm retired but my work history consisted of desk work (45 years of it). As a result I have developed 12 compression fractures; 9 thoracic and 3 lumbar. The pain was excruciating and I had to have a morphine pump surgically implanted in my abdomen with a tiny canulla up my spine to deliver the pain med. It helps but it doesn't take the pain completely away. If you have a desk job, take breaks and walk around for 15 minutes. You don't want the hunchback that I have.
