They make a call to Donald Trump and he tells them he know more about solving riddles than anyone.Trump denies telling them he knew the answers,. They all die of starvation and dehydration when he forgets to give them a solution.

It never said the instrument they grabbed needed to be the instrument that they necessarily play, all each person has to do is take an instrument. Any instrument and when they're done they can trade on the bus

Chrissy Krainock Luders, This puzzle is absolute nonsense. The player chosing the instrument would take it with them. Even if they didn't, there is no link between the last box and the next box. That link is only provided by the person chosing, you are linking the boxes yourself. That does not affect the odds in any way. There are still 1 in 10 chances of a box having your instrument. You cannot change those odds whatever you do. There is no loop. There are only 10 random boxes.

Adam Schweiss, I quote from the narrative: "If each one of you can find your own instrument, you're playing tonight. If not, the label is dropping you."

Correction on spelling. I meant to say, "Therefore, you CAN'T pick up any other instrument other than YOUR own..."

Adam Schweiss, "If each of you can find your OWN instrument.." yep, I think that you didn't hear that part. Theregore, you can pick up any other instrument other than YOUR own. No on the bus trading.. if so, it wouldn't be a riddle...

Musicians have to become adept at what sounds other instruments make. So if all of them shook all the boxes around before selecting they may be able to hear what sound is coming out from the box and being able to tell which box is holding their instrument. Plus weight would be a good indicator or what is in a particular box.
